Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the solidification of oil sludge, waste oil, and sludge etc., by mxing oil sludge, waste oil, sludge etc. with inorg. cement and a material made by adsorbing a prescribed surfactant with an inorg. adsorbing agent powder and by drying the material.
CONSTITUTION: Surfactant such as sodium lignin sulfonate which hardly restricting the setting and solidification of ionrg. cement is adsorbed with inorg. adsorbing agent powder e.g. activated alumina, alumina silicate, clay, and zeolite etc. and is dried. The dried material is mixed with oil sludge, waste oil, sludge etc. together with cement in order to solidify these waste materials. Adsorbed quantity of the surfactant with the inorg. adsorbing agent is usually about 10W25wt%. The inorg. adsorbing agent having adsorbed surfactant is used about 2W10wt% with respect to the cement. Hereby said waste materials are solidified very easily, and the outflow of the harmful substances are prevented.
