Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the heat dispersion and the insulation performance of collector, by securing a metallic tube at the outer circumferential tip of each collector while enclosing them with an outer-circumferential tube extending from one end of high frequency circuit. CONSTITUTION:The collector 6 of an electron beam tube such as wave traveling tube is separated, for example, to four steps of collectors 11-14 where each collector 11-14 is insulated through a tubular insulation stone 15. The outer-circumferential section of each collector 11-14 is projected from the tubular insulation stone 15, and metallic tubes 16-19 are mounted through welding to each projection. Said metallic tubes 16-19 are enclosed by a metallic outer-circumferential tube 20 extending at the outer-circumference of the end section 2 of high frequency circuit 2. The lead wire 22 of the collectors 11-14 is taken out from an end metalboard 21 of outer-circumferential tube 20. The heat is dispersed from the collectors 11-14 and the metallic tubes 16-19 as shown by arrows A, B.
