PURPOSE:To prepare a chlorella-containing health food having physical characteristics suitable for chewing, and excellent taste, flavor, color, etc., by mixing chlorella formed to granules having specific hardness, pickled ''ume'' granules, and other granulated nutrious foods. CONSTITUTION:The titled food is prepared by mixing (A) 40-70wt% of chlorella formed to granules having a hardness of 0.8-1.7kg/cm<2>, (B) 5-15wt% of granulated pickled ''ume'', and (C) 55-15wt% of granulated nutrious foods formed from powdery foods other than chlorella and pickled ''ume'', e.g. ginseng, shiitake mushroom, tangle, royal jelly, garlic, etc. The food thus obtained is a health food having physical characteristics suitable for chewing, and excellent taste and flavor. It also has vivid color contrast of green chlorella, red ''ume'', and brown nutrious foods.
