Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible the automatic replenishing of accurate timing and amount by controlling the replenishing amount of the developing solution based on the forecast value of a film blackened area and correcting the replenishing amount according to the film blackened area after developing.
CONSTITUTION: A film area is detected by the infrared ray light source 5 and solar battery 6 of a film area detector 4 and the blackened area and the amount of the replenisher are forecast by a forecast blackened area and forecast required replenisher amount calculating mechanism 9 in which the rates of blackening according to films have been set, by way of a blackened area rate selecting mechanism 8. A replenishing pump 13 of a replenisher replenishing mechanism 12 is controlled by way of a replenisher replenishing time control mechanism 10. On the other hand, the forecast value by way of the mechanism 9 is stored in a memory 11 and is compared with the replenishing amount based on the actual blackened area detection of the film after development in a comparator 21, whereby a replenishing pump 23 for correction is controlled. Hence, the developing solution is automatically replenished accurately at accurate timings and the good developing is thus accomplished.
