Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an efficient sinking and driving of a pile in a seabed with a jet of pressurized water, by a method wherein, in a seabed foundation construction method and a pile used in said construction method, a pile driving in which a pressurized water injection pipe is embedded, is used.
CONSTITUTION: A pile A consists of a pile body 1, in which an end 1 of a square short column 1a and a quadrangular pyramid section 1b are connected into monolithical unit, and a pressurized water injection pipe 2 which is embedded in such a state as enables the pipe 2 to pierce longitudinally through a central portion of the pile body 1. The pile A is hung down through the working of a crane installed on ?a work ship, and is set in a given place on a seabed surface by a diver. A pressurized water is fed to the pessurized water injection pipe 2 from a pressurized water supply source through a pipe connected to a coupling metal 3, and is jetted from a tip 16 of the quadrangular pyramid into a seabed ground to sink the pile A and pierce it through to a given depth.
