Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate detection of a rotating position of a distributor by an output which is generated by detecting a change in an electrostatic capacity between a rotor and a side electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 26 of a distributor 2 and the side electrode 23 are opposed to each other, a pulse signal from an oscillation circuit 120 is turned reversely by an invert gate 125 and input to the first side electrode 23 through a terminal 104 and, further, sent to the rotor 26 through an electrostatic capacity between the rotor 26 and the first side electrode 23. A signal from other side electrode is input to the rotor 26 when the rotor 26 is turned. A rotating position of the distributor 2 is detected by comparing and phase-detecting the signal obtained at the rotor 26 with a standard voltage and indicated at an indicating circuit 170.
