Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep a wind mill in line with the direction of wind accurately by providing a rotatable tail wing at the mill and by detecting and compensating for the difference in angle between the mill and wing.
CONSTITUTION: A tail wing 14 is provided on the rear end of a mill 12 at an elevation 12a. With a rotary valve 17 set in the closed position as indicated by dotted lines, hydraulic liquid sent from a hydraulic liquid pressure generator 22 just flows around a seat 16a since a part in the seat 16a is completely covered by the rotary valve 17. When wind blows in an arrow direction W, the wing 14 is rotated, causing the valve 17 to take a position as indicated by solid lines. As this happens, hydraulic liquid from an inlet 18 passes into a distributor valve 16, and is applied through a discharge outlet 20 to a hydraulic motor 25 which rotates in a clockwise direction. This in turns causes a gear 24 to rotate so as to keep the mill 12 in line with the tail wing 14.
