Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of retransmissions from the transmission station to shorten the transmission time, by providing a response proportion comparing means and a retransmission frequency check means in the upper station to avoid retransmitting the same information till disappearance of negative acknowledge. CONSTITUTION:Upper receiving station 5 is provided with receiving signal analyzing part 501 which analyzes signals received from the transmission station, signal distribution part 502 which distributes analyzed signals to lower receiving station 8, negative acknowledge proportion comparing part 503 which counts response signals from lower receiving station 8 to detect the proportion, and retransmission frequency check part 504 which monitors the retransmission frequency. Then, the signal input to terminal 4 through transmission line 3 from the transmission station is analyzed by analyzing part 501 and is distributed to lower receiving station 8, and simultaneously, a negative acknowledge frequency and a retransmission frequency are set to comparing part 503 and check part 504 respectively through line 50, and the negative acknowledge signal from lower receiving station 8 is applied to comparing part 503 through transmission line 10; and if the negative acknowledge signal is a set value or less within a fixed time, it is decided that lower receiving station 8 acknowledges information, thus shortening the transmission time.
