Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easier the discrimination of long needle, short needle, time, minute, and second by changing the shape of bar segment, luminous color, and the way of displaying. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent display panel is made up of the base plate 2-1, the control area 2-2 of outside grid, the control area 2-3 of inside grid, the long needle 2-4, the short needle 2-5, and the long needle 2-6. When the long needle is lighted up, the outside grid goes ON but the bar segment controlled by the outside grid does not take part in the display of the short needle, so that the shape of the bar segment in this portion is changed. Thus, by accentuating any portion of each bar segment controlled by the outside grid, the discrimination between the long needle and the short needle can be made easier.
