Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus described in the title which has no mechanically moving parts and which is in no danger of troubles, by installing a gas inflow pipe between two throttles of a main pipe through which the liquid is introduced and a liquid inflow pipe at the lower part of the downstream side throttle, and by making the main pipe open in a treating tank placed on the downstream side of the main pipe. CONSTITUTION:Raw sewage 8 treated in a sedimentation basin and the sludge 9 returned from the final sedimentation basin which is arranged next to a treating tank 3 are first charged to an upper water tank 2. The sewage in the tank 2 overflows an overflow wall 10 into a main pipe 1. The sewage flowing down through the main pipe 1 at a high speed is contracted by the ejector of the first throttle 4 so as to produce negative pressure between the throttle 4 and the second throttle 5. Air sucked through an open end of an inflow passage 6 for gas by the negative pressure is mixed with the sewage while passing the orifice of the throttle 5 and falls down with it into the tank 3 as gas-liquid mixture. During falling down, the gas is mixed with the sewage to form fine bubbles, and the bubbles are allowed to contact violently with the liquid, whereby O2 is dissolved sufficiently in the sewage.
