Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the bulk and weight of an optical system without requiring imaging optical systems by using a focusing type optical transmission body array for the imaging optical system and using one piece of a lens which makes macro- projection light into parallel luminous fluxes. CONSTITUTION:A protection observing device 1 is removably mounted to a copying device 2, and a Fresnel lens 12 is used for making macro-projection light into parallel luminous fluxes. A focusing type optical transmission body array 13 is used for an imaging optical system. With this constitution, the image of a microfilm M is projected via the 1st, 2nd reflecting mirrors 6, 7 to a projection screen 8. In the case of a macro-copying, the mirror 7 is located in the imaginary position of the figure, then macro-projection light enters the lens 12 and enters the array 13 are parallel luminous fluxes. The exit light is projected as imaging light onto a drum 14, whereby prescribed copying is accomplished. Thereby, the bulk and weight of the optical system are reduced without requiring imaging optical systems.
