Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to assemble an electrode unit by causing a film to adhere to the electrode simply without a special-structure film, by a constitution where the film fitted into the film support material by the O ring is interposed and fitted between the convexed curved face of the electrode support material and the concaved curved face of the film support material.
CONSTITUTION: For assembling fixed enzyme film 20 into an electrode unit, enzyme film 20 is first put on film support material 10 and is fixed without sag by O ring 15. Meanwhile, electrodes 27 and 28 are so provided in support material 26 that they may be placed in guide cylinder 25 and fitting cylinder 3 respectively, and film support material 10 with enzyme film 20 fitted is inserted from below into large- diameter hole 5b of fitting cylinder 3, and stopping material 21 is screwed into fitting cylinder 3 to press film support material 10 upward. As a result, enzyme film 20 is brought into contact with convexed curved face 29 formed by electrode support material 26 and electrodes 27 and 28 and is caused to adhere closely to electrodes 27 and 28.
