CONSTITUTION:A temp. switching element 1 is installed with spin rearrangement type ferromagnetic bases 7, 7' consisting of a dysprosium cobalt (DyCo5) alloy opposedly in the form that the directions 7a, 7a' of their easy magnetization axis at a certain temp. are deviated by 90 deg. each other. On the other hand, a permanent magnet 3 consisting of a samarium cobalt (SmCo5) alloy is provided between the bases 7, 7' freely movably in the directions A, B in the form that its magnetic poles 3a, 3b are arranged in the arrow A, B directions. Since this element is so arranged as to operate the magnet 3 by utilizing the difference in the attraction forces acting between the permanent magnet 3 and the magnetic materials 7, 7' in this way, leaf springs are omitted, and the entire part is miniaturized.
