PURPOSE:To support an image pickup element by simple constitution with high precision, by preventing it from shifting in position at right angles to the optical axis by utilizing the rigidity of a leaf spring and hooking of a press screw and a through hole. CONSTITUTION:Movable plate 22 is provided nearly in parallel to substrate 21. At both lengthwise ends of this movable plate 22, holding parts 23 and 24 are formed corresponding to the diagonal line of substrate 21, and at the center part, solid image pickup element 25 is equipped. Movable plate 22, while supported by press screws 28 and 29, is held by screw 32 and movable plate 22 and substrate 21 are activated by leaf spring 30 to come closer. Adjusting screw 32 and push screws 28 and 29 moves image pickup element 25 in the optical axis direction or slanting it to the optical axis to make its position adjustment.
