Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of component parts of a transmission and to simplify the structure of the same, by supporting a stopper lever in a freely retractable and pivotally movable manner in an elongated hole, and urging the stopper lever by a spring slantwise to the direction of the movement of a fork shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The stopper level 22 is supported on a bracket 23 fixed to the transmission case A in a pivotally movable manner by a pin 24 extending through a elongated hole 25 formed in the stopper lever 22. Further, a torsion spring 26 is interposed between the stopper lever 22 and the bracket 23 for urging the stopper lever 22 in clockwise and leftward directions. At the top of the stopper lever 22, there are formed a stopper part 22a having a surface extending perpendicularly to the direction of the movement of a fork shaft 13 and a force receiving part 22b having a surface extending perpendicularly to said surface of stopper part 22a. When the fork shaft 13 is in its neutral position, these two parts 22a, 22b are received in a shifter groove 13a.
