Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand the visual field of image fiber by picking up the image of a still picture by dividing it into (n) blocks and by composing an output picture of all blocks in a temporary memory device. CONSTITUTION:Image pickup adapter 2 fitted atop of image fiber 3 is moved by driver 7 controlled by controller 8 to scan object 1 to be transmitted. In scanning, object 1 to be transmitted is divided into four blocks, for example, depending upon the visual field of image pickup adapter 2 and telecamera 5 generates a picture signal for every block picture. Those picture signals are written in memory device 9 by one block at a time. The reading and writing of memory device 9 are brought under the control of controller 8 to obtain a composite picture of respective blocks.
