Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit which has superior temperature characteristics and improved voltage regulation as the power source of an integrated electronic circuit, by controlling a variable impedance circuit connected in series between input and output terminals. CONSTITUTION:Collector voltage Vc of transistor Q3 constituting current Miller circuit 10 and anode voltage Va of diode Q4 are supplied to voltage comparator 20. Between supply terminal 1 for input voltage Vi and output terminal 11, variable impedance circuit 30 is connected in series and impedance 30 is so controlled with the comparison output of comparator 20 that VCE of transistor Q3 is equal to the collector potential of transistor Q4. In comparator 20, collector voltage Vc is supplied to one transistor Q6, and anode voltage Va to the other transistor Q7 to obtain a differential output, which is supplied to transistor Q10 via transistors Q8 and Q9, thereby closed loop control until Va=Vc. When Va=Vc, output voltage V0 is stabilized.
