Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled composition with improved running stability on a wet rood, rolling resistance and extrudability, which is prepared by compounding a rubber primarily composed of a high-molecular styrene-butadiene copolymer with a low-molecular liquid polymer.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. high-molecular styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (i) of number average MW 1,8×105-3.0×105, or blend rubber consisting of at least 20wt. said copolymer rubber (i) and at least one rubber (ii) selected from natural rubber, poly isoprene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber and medium-molecular styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber of number- average MW 8×104-1.5×105, is compounded with 5W40pts.wt. at least one liquid polymer of number-average MW 3×103-5×104, selected from liquid styrene- butadiene copolymer, liquid polyisoprene polymer, liquid polybutadiene polymer and liquid acrylnitride-butadiene copolymer.
