Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve productivity and quality simultaneously by moving the top end opening part of a lower sleeve up to a feedable position and feeding molten metal then mounting the same to the bottom end part of an upper sleeve and injecting the molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: With an injection plunger 9 held inserted into a lower sleeve 15, the sleeve 15 is placed in the position D, and molten metal is poured by a shank 11. Next, a tilting cylinder 21 is operated to turn an injection unit B around the point O and raise it to the position C. Further, a shift cylinder 23 is operated in the E→F direction to press the sleeve 15 to an upper sleeve 14. On the other hand, die clamping operation has been completed prior to this operation, and immediately after the pressing of the sleeve 15, pressurized oil is conducted into an injection cylinder 10, from which the molten metal is injected. Upon completion of the injection and ending of cooling of the product, a moving die 6 is opened, and in synchronization with this, the plunger 9 is further moved upward to eject the product and the head part.
