Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a restart at a processing state after a fault and during a fault respectively, by installing independently the hold/reset circuit of a contact that detects the fault of a sequence controller SC and the power source of SC. CONSTITUTION:The SC1 consists of the arithmetic part 2, the input part 3 and the output part 4 that delivers the result of operation to the device 8 to be controlled. The electric power is supplied to these component elements from the power sources 5A-5C plus the power source dividing fuses 6A-6C. The monitor relays 7A-7C are provided at each power source. The controller fault detecting contact 9-a1 that detects the loss of power supply of each part and an SC fault plus the reset switch 10-a for process restart after recovery of fault are provided at the part 3; and the SC fault output contact 2A is provided at the part 2, respectively. The hold/reset circuit includes the controller fault detecting relay 9 which works on an independent power source 5D by the closure of contacts 7A-b-7C-b of relays 7A-7C plus the contact 2A. Thus the processing course is held for a count timer in the SC in the holding mode, and the process is restarted at the time point of fault by a resetting action after recovery of the fault.
