Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a compact apparatus by using the two bar lenses in which the respective element faces assume a light intensity distribution of a Gaussian distribution shape on an image plane and disposing an intermediate ring at their intermediate as well as disposing the lens systems in a grooved block.
CONSTITUTION: An optical-axis direction, the element lens system 3 is constituted by the 1st bar lens 1 and the 2nd bar lens 2. In this case, the 1st bar lens is telecentric on image field side and the 2nd bar lens 2 is telecentric on object field side. Hence, the face on the image field side of the former and the face on the object field side of the latter act as if to form an air lens and also act as a field lens, thus if image heights are taken at the axis of abscissa, and light intensities on image plane at the axis of ordinate, they show a Gaussian distribution. These bar lenses may be so made at to enable their setting in a grooved block 12 to be independently made by using an intermediate ring 6'.
