Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit stable hardening treament for soft soil under water by injecting a hardening agent from the holes of a stirring blade while sliding a platform holding the stirring shaft under the guidance of a guide pole at the center of a float in a treatment shipe by which soft soil layer, e.g., sludge, under water is hardened.
CONSTITUTION: A hardening agent is sent into a stirring shaft 5 through a hose by means of a slurry pump. A platform 4 on a float 1 is slided down into soft soil layer along guide poles 3a, 3b, and 3c while turning the stirring shaft 5 by motors 8 and 12, and at the same time the hardening agent, e.g., cement mix, etc., is injected into the soft soil layer through the holes or slits of the stirring blade 20 and mixed together to treat the soft soil layer for hardening. Because the treatment apparatus has good stability without pitching and rolling and also can be anchored by winches 24a, 24b, 24c, and 24d provided at the four corners of the float whose center is concentrated with weighty objects, no defects such as the remaining of unhardened portion, etc., occurs during the hardening treatment.
