Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the effective activity of deoxidizer by controlling its exothermic reaction during use by packing the deoxidizer with a material obtained by a method in which papers are laminated on each of films having different melting points, fine holes are bored in these laminates, and then both the paper sides of these laminates are bonded so as to regulate the permeability of oxygen.
CONSTITUTION: A paper is laminated on a plastic film and then fine holes approx. 0.05W2mm in diameter are bored in the laminate to obtain a perforated laminate A. And, a paper is laminated on plastic film having a melting point higher than that of the said plastic film and the fine holes are bored in the laminate to obtain a perrorated laminate B. Then, both the paper sides of the laminates A and B are bonded by doubling them in such a way as to regulate the permeability of oxygen to 0.005W 5ml/cm2.mm.atm. Using the packing material thus obtained, a deoxidizer is packed to obtain a deoxidizing package. When the deoxidizing package is used for the storage of foods, etc., the safe and effective deoxidizing activity can be attained with the generation of lesser amounts of heat.
