Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the measuring device for density of ion which is small-sized and easy to supply internal liquid by a method wherein an inner pipe provided with an internal-liquid injection port in the vicinity of the tip part thereof is inserted into an outer pipe fitted with a semiconductor ion sensor at the tip part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor ion sensor 54 is fitted in the tip part of the outer pipe 51 through the intermediary of an insulation member 57 and a supporting body 52 and internal liquid 59 filled up in the outer pipe 51 is connected by a liquid- communicating part 53 to the tip opening 51A of the outer pipe 51 at which the sensitive film 55 of the sensor 54 is exposed. Next, the injection port 61 is provided in the vicinity of the tip part, while the inner pipe 60 fitted with a reference electrode 58 through the intermediary of an insulation member 57A is inserted into the outer pipe 51. Accordingly, the internal liquid injected through the inner pipe 60 is injected into the outer pipe 51 through the injection port 61, while air located between the inner and outer pipes 60 and 51 is sent smoothly to the rear end part of the outer pipe 51, and thus the internal liquid 59 can easily be filled up inside the measuring device for density of ion.
