Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide galvanized material having excellent corrosion resistance and adhesive strength to iron substrate, by allowing to contain specific quantities of Al, Pb, and Mg to zinc. CONSTITUTION:Hot galvanizing material consisting of 0.35-0.50wt% Al, 0.01- 0.10wt% Mg, 0.15-0.25wt% Pb, residual percent zinc and impurities, or if necessary, adding 0.10-0.50wt% Cu. In this composition the corrosion resistance of the coating and the adhesive strength to the iron substrate are improved. Said coating material has high practicality because the quantities of Al, Mg, and Pb change narrowly, and a large quantity of inexpensive alloy for compounding is available.
