Abstract

PURPOSE:To receive a program of a desired item from optional telecasting station by operating an item selective key, by using the same item number concerning the same item in each telecasting station. CONSTITUTION:Each telecasting station transmits a meassage by use of the same item number concerning a program of the same item. When the TV receiver 1 is turned on, a data which has been multiplexed in the flyback time is written in the buffer memroy 3 from the character telecasting signal gate 2. When a program is selected by use of the item program selective key 12, the selected program number is stored in the control RAM13 from the buffer memory 3. This program number is displayed on the display element 9 through I/O port 8. The program number of the RAM13 is compared with that of the buffer memory 3, and in case of coincidence, it is transferred to the pattern memory 4 and the color memory 5, and is diaplayed on the TV receiver 1 through the video signal compounding circuit 6. In this way, it becomes possible to receive a program by inputting the key once.
