Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned container consisting of a special thermoplastic polyester as the innermost layer and an external layer of polyamide resin containing metaxylidine group with a thin wall at least oriented in one direction and possessing satisfactory dynamic property, transparency and chemical resistance. CONSTITUTION:For a multistructured container, a precursor molding for a container having an innermost layer of thermoplastic polyester resin mainly consisting of ethylene terephthalate at natural viscosity of more than 0.55 (preferably 0.65- 1.4) and an external layer of polyamide resin containing methaxylidine is formed. The innermost resin Tg+15 deg.C CTg is elongated 1-4 times lengthwise and 2-7 times (circumferential length multiplying factor of the crosswise direction of a container) within a temperature range of from glass transfer temperature to 2(Tg)+ 15 deg.C, above all 90-150 deg.C. As a result, it is possible to obtain a multiply container having an excellent resistance against gas permeability and a thin wall part at least oriented in one direction.
