Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent consumption of the unnecessary energy in the unmanned operation by detecting via the electronic computer that the transfer of the numerical value control NC data is discontinued for a fixed time to the numerical value control machine tool and then giving the command for the pump cut-off.
CONSTITUTION: In the NDC system in which numerical value control machine tools 1 and 2 plus work carrier unit 3 are controlled directly by electronic computer 10, numerical value control units 11 and 12 distribute the pulses based on the numerical value control data transferred from the program of computer 10 in order to give the control to each feed axle of tools 1 and 2. In case the continuation of the processing action becomes impossible due to occurrence of various troubles of completion of the schedule under operation of pump units 7W9 of tools 1 and 2 plus unit 3 in the unmanned operation mode, the fact that no NC data is transferred although the set time elapses is detected by computer 10.
