Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the automatic iterative reading for the original by providing two paper exhaustion lines which transfer the read original and the switching means to select the original path plus the mechanism to give inversion to the original at one paper exhaustion line respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Original 2 placed on orginal rest board 3 of paper feed part 1 is sent to reading part 8 passing through the gap between board 3 and stopper 4 and then between separation roller 6 and brake roller 7. And reader 10 starts reading original. Carrying roller 11 is born in front of part 8, and two original exhaustion lines A and B are formed with roller 11 plus guide plates 14, 14a, 14b and the like. Thus the tip of read original 2a touches mobile guide component 15 when the original passes through part 8. And detector 17 detects the rear edge of original 2A, but roller 11 has rotations in the same direction.
