Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a seat adjuster of simple structure and enough strength by preparing a reinforcement member where its base end part is connected with the lower rail and its free end can slide freely along the bracket for connecting a seat belt. CONSTITUTION:If an impact load is given to a seater in the front and upper direction against a bracket 24 through a seat belt this inpact load is transmitted to the car body through a bolt 25, a side frame 3, an upper and a lower rail 20, 21 and as another course, through the bent part 28 of the bracket 24, the bent part 34 and the base end part 31 of a reinforcement member 30 and a lower rail part 21. By this, strength and rigidity is remarkably increased.
