Abstract

PURPOSE: To let tenon staking be accomplished effectively and safely through mechanizing of the posture controlling of the pneumatic hammer held to a movable member by providing vertically moving and laterally moving cylinders to the end parts of the movable member.
CONSTITUTION: When a handle 1 is moved rightward, a signal transmitter 2 operates and compressed air operates an amplifier 3. Then, compressed air enters a pneumatic-hydraulic converter 4 which in turn converts air pressure to hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic pressure then passes through a check valve 5 and a speed regulator 6 and enters the left side of a cylinder 9 which in turn moves a piston 10 rightward, thereby moving the pneumatic hammer 7 of a movable member 22 to right. On the other hand, the oil on the right side of the piston 10 goes through a speed regulator 10 and a check valve 18 to a pneumatic-hydraulic converter 17 to push out the internal air. When the handle 1 is moved leftward, the operations similar to the above take place to move the hammer 7 to left and further when the handle 1 is moved up or down, the hammer 7 is position-controlled up or down. If the fulcrum position 9a of the cylinder 9 is changed, the hammer 7 may be corresponded to this according to the shape of the tenon.
