Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the detection precision of pressure difference to facilitate conversion of pressure difference to electric signals by converting pressure difference to movement of a diaphragm and converting this movement to rotation of an output axis and transferring this rotation to a potentiometer.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure difference is caused between high pressure room 4 and low pressure room 5, a force obtained by the product between pressure difference and the effective pressure receiving area of diaphragm 3 acts on the diaphragm, and the diaphragm is displaced upward as shown in the figure. Then, pressure difference is converted to change of the static position of diaphragm 3 by functions of spring 14 and diaphragm 3. Next, vertical movement of diaphragm 3 is converted to rotation of lever 17, namely, rotation of output axis 18 and is converted to rotation of potentiometer 22 and is converted to electric signals. Thus, movement of diaphragm 3 can be substituted by rotation of the output axis, so that the detec tion precision of pressure difference can be improved and conversion to electric signals dependent upon the potentiometer can be facilitated.
