Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a rise characteristic of a small overshoot even for low tube voltage set by providing a control circuit proportional reversely to the value of a desired tube voltage and adjusting the output pulse width of a pulse width modulator by the output of this circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A high voltage generation circuit is constituted by oscillator 1 which determines the switching frequency of chopping transistor 6, triangular wave generation circuit 2, comparator 3, error amplifier 4, smoothing circuit 5, transistors 7 and 8, pulse width modulator 10, inverter transformer 12, rectifier 13, X-ray tube 14, control signal generation circuit 15, resistances 16∼19, voltage dividing circuit 20, reference voltage generation circuit 21, etc. In this constitution, circuit 15 is provided with an operational amplifier having feedback resistance 16, and the inversion input terminal is connected to the reference voltage VRef side of amplifier 4 through resistance 17, and further, the output is applied to the inversion input terminal of comparator 3 through resistance 19. By this constitution, a rise characteristic of a small overshoot can be obtained even for low tube voltage set because a voltage proportional reversely to change of tube voltage KVp is generated as output Vo of circuit 15.
