Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a pump efficiency, by providing a one-way valve on the partition substance to allow the flow of induction and discharge of the pumping fluid in response to an action of the diaphragm.
CONSTITUTION: One-way valves 59W62 are provided on four partitions 55W58 that separate a chamber 52 linked to an inlet port 24 and a chamber 58 linked to an outlet port 27. And in each partition, as shown by the drawing, are provided eight one-way valves, thus with 12 one-way valves addequately arranged. Those of one-way valves are arranfed in a position facing both of a pump chamber 31, 36, accordingly, to be in perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow, as compared with a constitution in which the one-way valve is arranged in a position of relatively small effective area, an effective opening area can be fully taken with a small open valve pressure, and a good seal characteristic, thus a highly efficient pump action can be provided.
