Abstract
PURPOSE:To obviate raw material excess and deficiency in the furnace center part even if there are fluctuations in the raw material effluence state from the furnace top bunker by appropriating the tilting position at the end period of raw material charging of swivel chute of a bell-less charger to the blast furnace center part and the intermediate part other than the furnace wall part. CONSTITUTION:The raw materials such as coke, etc. in furnace top bunkers 3 are charged into the furnace through a swivel chute 8. At this time, the swivel chute 8 moves from the standby position 0 to 2 and distributes the raw materials less by two turns than conventional methods in the position 2, by 1 turn in the position 3 and one turn in the positions 4-7 respectively. The method of swivelling respectively one turn in the positions 7-4 in the backward way to replenish the positions less by each one turn in the foward way is employed and after it continues swivelling some turns in the positions 3, 2 of the backward way, it returns to the standby position 0. According to this method, the gas flows of th furnace wall and furnace center are optimized, the rate of utilization of gas reduction is improved and smooth and stable blast furnace operations may be accomplished.
