Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform accurate positioning, by tentatively fixing the meter so that the azimuth line of the fixing cylinder and the fixing intermediate cylinder are aligned toward true north and by performing final fixing after confirming the true north with a telescope with level.
CONSTITUTION: On ground, the wind wheel type self recording anemoscope and anemometer 1 is mounted on the fixing intermediate cylinder 4, and the indication of the azimuth recorder is confirmed toward the true north by matching the azimuth line 6 with the azimuth line 3 of the cylinder 2. Further, the meter 1 and the cylinder 4 are tentatively fixed with the tight band 7, the joint 12 of the band 7 is on the directional lines 3 and 6, and the tight band 15 providing with the level telescope 16 is tentatively fixed on the cylinder 4, and the joint 23 is positioned to the azimuth 6. After tentatively fixing the meter 1 on the pole 5 of an iron tower, the worker catches the object at the southing with the telescope 16 and the indication of the azimuth recording is confirmed toward the true north. Thus, the cylinder 4 is fixed on the pole 5 via the connecting cylinder 13 and the bands 7 and 15 are removed. Thus, correct positioning can be made.
