Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate the deterioration of characteristics at the low range occurring when the headphone is put to the side of the human face by providing the detector capable of detecting the pressure of the sealed-up space to the speaker unit. CONSTITUTION:Ear fitting pad 4 is provided in front of speaker unit 1, and detector 9 is attached to unit 1 to detect the pressure change in the space sealed up with unit 1, pad 4 and the side of the human face in the form of the electric signals. The output of detector 9 is supplied to unit 1 as the input signal to be then fed back to the amplifier. As a result, the characteristic deterioration occurring when the headphone is put to the side of the human face can be compensated.
