Abstract
PURPOSE:To use elements such as CCD having an analogue delay line function, which can change arbitrarily the delay time, to multiplex and transmit many sound signals efficiently. CONSTITUTION:Analogue shift registers 101 to 107 are CCD elements, and 7 sound signal inputs 1 to 7 are sampled by clock pulses of 8kHz from timing generation part 11, and eight read clock pulses of 8xn (m=8)=64kHz corresponding to each channel are supplied, and the output of each shift register is added to synchronizing carrier signal 12 by adder 13 and multiplexed. Meanwhile, each channel signal is time-compressed and arranged and is transmited through transmission part 15; and when received by receiving part 16, this signal reproduces a synchronizing carrier signal, and clock pulses of each channel from timing signal reproducing part 19 are supplied to shift registers 201 to 207n to reproduce signals.
