Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a unit, consisting of a pulse forming circuit, detecting synchronizing circuit, matching circuit and PLL to obtain constantly a signal synchronizing with a vetical synchronizing signal even if the vertical synchronizing signal is not detected.
CONSTITUTION: From an input digital signal, synchronizing separator circuit 2 generates and sends synchronizing signal (a) out to trigger monostable multivibrator 3, which outputs pulse (b) of wider pulse width than signal (a). Signal (a) is applied to shift register 4, where it is shifted at the rise of pulse (b). Its output is supplied to matching circuit 5, which outputs pulse (l) delayed behind signal (a) by a constant period of time. Pulse (l) is inputted to phase comparator circuit 10. Circuit 10, LPF11, voltage control oscillator 12, and 1/5880 counter 13 constitute PLL; oscillator 12 outputs a signal of a frequency N, e.g. 5880, times as high as vertical scanning frequency (fv) and 1/5880 counter 9 divides it by 5880. On receiving the pulses from counter 9, timing pulse generator 7 outputs a time reference signal, synchronizing with those pulses, from terminal 14.
