Abstract

PURPOSE: An undercoating manicure composition easily releasable with facing manicure films on removal, having moderate adhesiveness, without requiring removers, comprising a resin having specific properties, a plasticizer, and a solvent as main ingredients.
CONSTITUTION: An undercoating manicure composition comprising a specific resin which is a solid at room temperature, a plasticizer, and a solvent as main ingredients, used as a base coating for facing manicures comprising a main film-forming agent of nitrocellulose. A polyacrylic ester having a bond strength of 50W 200g/20mm to the nail and ≥300g/20mm to nitrocellulose is used as the resin. A resin having a higher bond strength to the nail may be used by adding a suitable releasing agent. The film will not be easily removed by some external force or kitchen work, but simply by pulling up the end of the film.
