Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a long composite metal pipe of optional diameter with high reliability with ease and high efficiency by a mechanism wherein metal tape of different quality is run continuously along the continuously running metal pipe, forming the tape into a cylinder so as to envelop the pipe, and after the butted portions are continuously welded, the pipe is solid drawn and finished.
