Abstract

PURPOSE:A cosmetic having improved wettability with pigments, comprising a low-boiling isoparaffin hydrocarbon, and a chain polysiloxane with a low polymerization degree. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic comprising (A) a low-boiling isoparaffin hydrocarbon, boiling point <=260 deg.C, e.g. Isopar, Shellsol, and Soltrol (trade names), and (B) a chain polysiloxane with a low polymerization degree of the formula (n is an integer 0-3), having a boiling point <=260 deg.C, particularly for make-up. The weight ratio of (A) to (B) is preferably 7:3-3:7. The cosmetic improves the wettability of inorganic and extender pigments with the polysiloxane.
