Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the loss of energy, installing a change over valve to shut at the discharge pressure more than a certain value, controlling the discharge flow of the pump in accordance with the required flow.
CONSTITUTION: The discharge flow of the variable capacity hydraulic pump 3 increases more than the required flow of swing hydraulic motor 18, when the discharge pressure of the pump 3 exceeds a certain value, the change-over valve 5 is operated through the pilot conduit 16 to shut the cnnection of the conduit 11. Thereby, the hydraulic chamber 7b on the piston rod side of control cylinder 2 is kept under the sealded condition, the increasing of the discharge flow of the variable capacity pump 3 is stopped locking the movement of the piston 1. Thus the discharge flow of the hydraulic pump 3 is controlled timely in accordance with the required flow of the swing hydraulic motor 18 through a simple hydraulic circuit, the loss of energy can be minimized.
