Abstract

CONSTITUTION: One electrode of the humidity detection element 1 in which electrical resistance value is changed according to the relative humidity is connected to the output terminal of the Schmitt trigger circuit 2, and another electrode is grounded via the capacitor 3 and also connected to the input terminal of the Schmitt trigger circuit 4, and the input terminal of the circuit 2 and the output terminal of the circuit 4 are connected to control measuring circuit 5. Further, the circuit 5 makes high potential for the input terminal when the output terminal of the circuit 4 is at low potential, and the humidity is detected by detecting the time when the output terminal of circuit 4 is at low potential.
