Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the loading and unloading of an air cleaner element easier and improve airtightness by forming in such a way as to slide in the air cleaner element from the side of a case and then clamping it with a sliding type pressing plate.
CONSTITUTION: The case 7 of an air cleaner 4 is formed in a square box type with three side walls 18, 19 and 20, and a remaining side wall is opened. Inside the case 7, a sealing wall 17 is provided on which an air cleaner element 14 is mounted, and above the wall, rails 21 are arranged at a certain distance. At the innermost ends of the rails 21, there are slopes 26 inclining inside. From the open end of the case 7, the element 14 is inserted first along the sealing wall 17, and then a pressing plate 22 with guide rails 23 is inserted between the element 14 and the rails 21. This plate 22 is firmly fixed downwards by the slopes 26.
