Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain ozonized air contg. ozone of an arbitrary concn. by attaching a means of mixing undried starting material gas into ozonized gas generated by a conventional method.
CONSTITUTION: Ozonized air (or oxygen) is generated by a conventional method through blower 1, cooler 2, drier 3 and ozonizer 4. All of it is dry gas, yet dry gas is not necessarily required for next reactor 5, and unbalance in quantity tends to occur between a substance to be treated and the ozonized air (or oxygen). So, undried air (or oxygen) is drawn with other blower 6, compressed to a pressure almost equal to the pressure of the ozonized air (or oxygen) from ozonizer 4, regulated to a predetermined flow rate with flow rate regulator 8, mixed with the ozonized air (or oxygen) at joining section 7, and fed to reactor 5. Thus, ozonized air (or oxygen) of an arbitrary concn. is supplied. Exhaust gas from this ozone generating apparatus may be used in place of the undried starting material gas.
