Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the detection of the aperture value of the lens of a single-lens reflex camera simple by disposing the imaging means of the aperture member of the taking lens in the position conjugate with the film plane, forming the image thereof on a plurality of photo detectors and detecting the aperture value of the lens.
CONSTITUTION: The light past the taking lens 2 and stop 3 of the single-lens reflex camera passes the semi-transparent mirror part 4a of a reflecting mirror 4. The focus of the image of the stop 3 is formed on the aperture value detector 46 consisting of plural photo detectors 45, by way of a total reflecting mirror 12 and concave mirror 43. According to the aperture of the stop 3, the output of the detector 46 changes, from which the aperture value of the lens may be detected. In cooperation to mounting of various kinds of taking lenses 2, the detector 46 is moved forward or backward so that the image of the stop 3 is always focused. Thereby, the aperture value of the lens may be readily detected.
