Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve liquie-leak proofness by filling a liquid sealing agent mixed with inhibitors such as ceramics, in the inside-cell gap in the sealed part of the cell in which insulation sealing between a negative electrode terminal and the case over positive electrode is performed with ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode terminal 1 and a case 3 over a positive electrode are insulated and sealed by putting a sealing ring 2 made of glass or ceramics between. Into the case 3 over the positive electrode, negative electrode mixed agent 5, electrolyte-immersed material 8, a separator 9 and positive electrode mixed agent 6 are inserted successively through an annular insulating gasket 7, then the case 3 is covered with the case 4 under the positive electrode. Welding and sealing are performed between both cases 3 and 4, forming a cell. Onto the negative electrode terminal 1 of this cell, a negative electrode collector 11 is welded, and in the gap between the collector 11 and the sealing ring 2 and the gasket 7, liquid sealing agent is filled which is obtained by mixing the constituent of glass or ceramic, or mixing the oxide thereof, for example Al2O3, or ZnO as inhibitor to polybuthene, pitch, or paraffines.
