Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of displacement of stuck members moving through between opposed surfaces by forming the surface of a tool horn for supersonic vibrations opposed to a feeding roller to be a concavedly curved surface of specific curvature. CONSTITUTION:In a device wherein the opposed surface 21 of a tool-horn 17 for giving supersonic vibrations is pressed on to a feeding roller 18 and two sheets are inserted through between them to be welded together, the opposed surface of the tool horn 17 is formed to be a concave curved surface having a curvature equal to the curvature of the outer periphery of the feeding roller 18 or smaller than that. In particular, the aperature between the opposed surface 21 of the tool horn 17 and the outer periphery of the feeding roller 18 is formed preferably so that it has the shape of a wedge which reduces its width gradually from the feeding side of an article to be processed.
