Abstract
PURPOSE: To make remote control possible by eliminating the need for a mechanical operating mechanism by switching ON-OFF a tape player with regard to RR, REW, STP and REV operations.
CONSTITUTION: This tape recorder is equipped with FF switch 10, REW switch 12 and STP switch 14 operated for FF, REW and STP operations, in addition to bistable circuits 18 and 20 like RSFFs. Through the operation of FF switch 10, bistable circuits 18 and 20 are rotated and through the operation of REW switch 12, bistable circuit 20 is inverted to control FF operation and REW operation by combining the outputs of both the flip-flops. Additionally, STP switch 14 is pushed to return bistable circuits 18 and 20 in the inversion states to their original states and while the FF and REW operations are reset, STP switch 14 when bistable circuits 18 and 20 are not in the inversion states, thereby inverting the drive direction of the tape.
